International Green Movement Day is celebrated on November 17th. On this occasion, various activities are organised to promote the protection of natural resources, combating climate change, raising environmental awareness and the need for environmental protection. Through different forms of education and activation environmental organisations contribute to raising people’s awareness of important topics such as the preservation of the ozone layer, the problem of deforestation, renewable energy sources, the importance of recycling, protected plant and animal species.
