Serbia based NECTAR company presented its first regional sustainability report in February 2020 and announced investments of  € 7 million in green energy production, and the introduction of new packaging of plant origin in its strategic commitment to sustainable business. The introduction of the new packaging, NECTAR will implement with its partner, the global leader in the carton-packaging segment, Tetra Pak. As announced, the packages are 84% plant based – sugar cane based, with 18% reduced carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions than standard packages.
