“Urgent Action for Biodiversity for Sustainable Development” is the theme of the upcoming UN 2020 Summit on Biodiversity

The world leaders will convene on 22-23 September 2020 to foster actions for biodiversity protection ahead of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biodiversity (COP 15). The organisation of the Summit is supported by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the main message importance of the biodiversity for future sustainable development will be delivered by the President of UN General Assembly.
