Paris is becoming the green rooftop city with the world’s largest urban rooftop farm

The most densely populated city in Europe is growing – not expanding, it’s growing fruit and vegetables. The Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is set to become home to the world’s largest urban rooftop farm next year. The space of 14,000 m²  (as two football pitches) will hold 30 different types of plant and grown using aeroponic method – little water and a large number of plants can be grown in a small area.
