Innovative education and schooling – UNEP and TEDEd “Earth School”

A month of a school quest for Earth protection, organised by UNEP and TEDEd – TED’s youth and education initiative has been initiated. The Quest will help understand and celebrate natural world, while learning about how dependent humans are of the planet. All the faced challenges triggers the need to protect, nurture and care for Earth. This innovative schooling and educational platform call for learning every weekday between Earth Day (April 22nd) and World Environment Day (June 5th) something amazingly new. Each lessons is accompanied by fascinating resources compiled by Earth experts and ideas for getting involved in ways that count. The Earth school shall provide information on how to learn more, create, act and embrace a journey towards a cleaner and greener life and future.

TEDEd supports learning — from producing a growing library of original animated videos , to providing an international platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons, to helping curious students around the globe bring TED to their schools and gain presentation literacy skills, to celebrating innovative leadership within TED-Ed’s global network of over 250,000 teachers.
